My Field Experience at Pembroke Lakes Elementary
FIELD EXPERIENCE
What a wonderful time I had in my field experience at Pembroke Lakes Elementary!
The teacher Ms.Monnin is so dedicated to teaching her children. The classroom is managed so well, and the students are joyfully engaged in learning. The children in Ms. Monnin's class are happy to come to school, excited to listen to the stories, to the poems and to start the assignments of the week. The students are very motivated and are very excited about their day in school.
Dr.Seuss celebration was such a rich educational experience. The teacher exhibited her Dr. Seuss book collection, the children wrote about their favorite book, read to each other and to themselves. They made authentic Cat in the Hat hats and wore them to lunch and throughout the day.The peak of the day was that all groups(4 kids at a time),made green eggs and Ham.All the school, smelled like fried eggs, but the kids had a mouthwatering experience. What did they learn?
To crack an egg,mix it,add color and mix again. They even wrote, using the process first, next and last. The most interesting thing they did before they left for their special is that they wrote a note on their desk as if they would like to taste the eggs or not. They all just loved it regardless of what the note said.I am very fortunate to work with such a remarkable teacher.
